The list has been sent to all of the CBSE schools. The same has been also posted on CBSE’s official website,” stated the recent circular from the board. Candidates can also download the list of exemptions and concessions for differently abled students from here.

The differently-abled students have to produce a medical certificate issued by recognised medical institutes to get concessions.

Students with spastic, visually impaired, physically handicapped, dyslexic, autistic and disabilities will be permitted to use a scribe or allowed compensatory time. Autistic students will be permitted to use the services of a scribe or an adult prompter.

Few selected schools have been made examination centres for these students, so that they can easy access to the facilities and face less problems. Special teachers from schools for visually impaired students are appointed as invigilators at these special examination centres.

CBSE has also waived off registration and examination fee for visually impaired students of classes 9, 10, 11, and 12.
